• Scope:
  • VTPM covers all manufacturing activities, including Order Management, Planning Management and Delivery Management. VTPM also takes special care of job management between Company and Customer, as well as Company and Vendor.

Sales Dept. (SLS) prepares Sales Plan. SLS reveives orders from Customers and then translates the orders into internal data (Sales Order, Delivery Order). SLS then passes (orders) it to Planning Dept. (PPIC).

Based on SLS orders, PPIC will confirm the availabilities of the parts. If the stock (INV) is not enough to fulfill the orders, PPIC will procure internally through Production Dept. (PROD) or externally through Vendor/Supplier/Sub-contractor.

PROD makes production schedules. Finished parts (also parts from Vendor) temporarily will be stored in Warehouse (WHS) before delivered to Customer.

In turn, Expedition (EXP) will prepare parts for delivery at the right time, quantity and quality.

Engineering Dept. (ENG) will support part structure (Bills Of Material, BOM) for calculation of material requirement. ENG also prepares process design and layout for production.

  • Modules:
  • Starting from basic modules of Shop Floor Scheduling and Engineering package, basically plant activities are managable. Continued with implementing Functional Modules, all manufacturing controls are in your hand. When boards and executives need to know the progress report of all operation, then executive Dashboard Manager module is a must.

    1. Executive Module: Performance of all Departments.
Achievements are displayed in a simple bar chart, showing the plan vs actual. The graph is automatically updated from time to time in responding the reports from the floor. Since the graph is generated by the system, and no chance to manipulate its values, management will get the real performance.

    2. Functional Modules:
-Sales Order Management: Customer data, receiving order, sales plan.
-Planning Control: interprets/translates sales plan into production plan.
-Procurement: responsibles to availability of parts and raw materials by outsourcing.
    -Inventory/Warehouse: controls the stock.
-Total Productive Maintenance: Annual maintenace schedule that synchronized with production. schedule.

    3. Basic Modules: Critical steps, need high accuracy. Deviations start from here.
-Engineering Module: Part structure (BOM), Process Design.
-Shop Floor Scheduling: Machine Loading, Plant Layout.
